Denver - Mile High Pétanque Club[]

  • We post meeting dates and locations on our Facebook page -- https://www.facebook.com/WCSBL
  • We play on numerous suitable terrains across the Denver metro area.
  • During the summer, we play every Sunday 9-1pm at Centennial Gardens, 1101 Little Raven St., Denver, Colorado 80202. (map)
  • Between November and December, we play (weather permitting) every other Saturday 1-5pm (or dark) at Commons Park, 1550 Platte Street, Denver, CO 80202 (or 1800 Little Raven St.) (map)
  • David Keil discovered pétanque while living in western France in 1998. When David and wife Delphine bought a house in Denver, they constructed a backyard piste. Others in the Denver metro area were doing the same thing. In 2007, David and some of his friends who also had private pistes established the West Central Suburbian Boules League (WCSBL). Increasing popularity of pétanque created a need to expand into public spaces that could accommodate more players of different skill levels. With that in mind, the Mile High Pétanque Club was created in 2013. They now get together and play at Centennial Gardens.
  • We are an FPUSA member club. See FPUSA for email and contact information.
